Sony announces waterproof mid ranged Xperia M2 Aqua in UK



Sony Mobile Communications or Sony Mobile has announced a new smartphone in the United Kingdom, named as Xperia M2 Aqua. The new handset from the company will come affordable and is the Japanese first ever device to pack in their popular water resistance in a middle ranged budget friendly price tag, offering its users with the IP65/68-certification ratings on board, also featuring Sonys signature OmniBalance design. The new smartphone unveiled by Sony will be available in both Black and White color options, and we expect the new handset to begin its sales by this years Autumn 2014, and should arrive in markets including, Latin America, Asia Pacific and Europe.

"Xperia M2 Aqua is a significant milestone in our product portfolio as we bring yet another of our signature technologies to a new category of smartphones. The popularity of Xperia M2 showed us that there was a huge demand for premium Sony features at an affordable price-point. Following consumer feedback, weve now taken this a step further by bringing our waterproof expertise to a mid-range smartphone for the first time with Xperia M2 Aqua. So, what does the phone got underneath? The newly announced Sony made Xperia M2 Aqua will come out of the box with a 1.2GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and Adreno 305 Graphics Processing Unit, 4.8-inches qHD IPS screen panel of 540 x 960 resolution display, marked at 230 pixels-per-inch, eight gigabytes of internal mass storage (expandable via microSD card slot), one gigabyte of Random Access Memory, eight megapixels primary shooter on the back with Sonys own Exmor RS for mobile image sensor, and auto-focus, capable of capturing Full High Definition 1080p videos, and features including, High Dynamic Range (HDR), SteadyShot video stabilization, Superior Auto automatic scene selection, Pulsed LED flash and 4x digital zoom.

Theres also a 1.1 megapixels secondary camera on the front, and for connectivity, the Xperia M2 Aqua embraces Bluetooth 4.0, DLNA Certified, aGPS, Wi-Fi Miracast Wireless audio and video connections between other capable devices, Near Field Communication (NFC), 4G LTE and 3G UMTS HSPA network radio capabilities. You will get a 2,330mAh powered battery and Battery STAMINA Mode, running Androids version 4.4 KitKat with proprietary User Interface on top.

How to Screen Mirror Sony Xperia Z to Show the Screen on a TV


The Screen Mirroring will allow you to show the Lcd of your device on a TV or other large display without using a cable connections. It uses the Wi-Fi Direct technology that create a wireless connection between two devices. You can also use this feature to listen to music from your phone via the TVs speakers.


How to mirror the Lcd of your phone on a TV:

1. First you need to turn on the Lcd mirroring function on your TV. Just follow the instructions in the User Guide of your TV.

2. From your Home Lcd, tap on the Menu icon 

3. Select on Settings, and tap Xperia™.

4. Choose Screen mirroring.

5. Tap to turn on the Screen mirroring and select a device.

Note: The TV that you want to connect with must support Lcd mirroring for the above described functionality to work. If it does not support, then you can try the Throw feature. Go to Settings > Throw feature.
