Xolo has officially announced Xolo Q1200

Xolo has released a new smartphone named Xolo Q1200. The handset comes with some software features like the gesture controls, voice recognition, dual windows feature, cold screen access and smart reading mode.

Xolo Q1200 packs a Quad-Core MediaTek MT6582 Central Processing Unit (CPU) clocked at 1.3GHz processor, Mali 400 MP2 Graphics Processing Unit, 5-inches HD IPS screen of 1280 x 720 resolution display covered with Gorilla Glass 3 marked at 294 pixel per inch, eight gigs of on board memory (expandable via microSD card slot), one gigabyte of Random Access Memory, 13 megapixels Sony Exmor R sensor primary camera capable of recording 1080p videos with dual-LED flash light, a two megapixels front-facing camera, 2,000mAh powered battery and runs Android version 4.2 Jelly Bean over the hood.

The company has promised to its users that it will deliver the Androids KitKat version update later this year. The dimensions of the device are 144.8 x 71.4 x 6.8 mm thick and comes in Black and White color options. For connectivity options it supports Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi, GPS, 3G with HSPA and microUSB 2.0. Xolo Q1200 costs around 236.5 US Dollars. The device will start pilling up in the store shelves by 10th June.

LG officially announces QuickCircle Case for G3 ahead of its smartphone launch

Its not that often we see any manufacturer announce accessories for their upcoming smartphones ahead of its official launch, but today LG has officially sanctioned a new product for their impending flagship smartphone, the rumored and leaked G3 or codenamed B2.

As the new handset from the South Korean consumer electronics manufacturer is said to arrive next week, to be exact on the 27th of May, today the company has unveiled and introduced their new and useful QuickCircle Case for their looming front runner. The new flip-style case from LG will allow its users to take advantage of various new features available with the G3 smartphone, without even the need of opening the flap off the display. As seen from the above picture, you can check the time, place calls, send text messages, take photographs, listen to music and even get health updates directly on to the circular cutout window.

The case is said to be designed to protect the smartphone from its side edges and provide the best grip, all while maintaining the sleek construction of the handset. The new QuickCircle Case from Lifes Good will also attribute a Smart Lightning feature, that will basically emits a soft white circular glow within the window when the flap is opened or closed, also when you receive a call or message on board. Qi interface standard wireless charging is also capable with this new case from the manufacturer. The new Press Release also makes a note that, the firm will make available software development kit or SDK by next month to allow developers to customize their G3 devices with different features, wearing the QuickCircle Case.

The new stylish product from LG will ship in five eye catching color options, from Metallic Black (as seen above), Silk White, Shine Gold, Aqua Mint to Indian Pink.

Apple officially acquires Beats Music and Beats Electronics for 3 Billion

Today, the rumored and reported news from the past is finally official from the American multinational corporation, Apple. The company has made their acquisition over Beats Music and their Electronics department, including their popular Beats headphones, speakers and audio software to inks and papers, as moments back the firm has issued a Press Release with information sanctioning their new purchase for the public.

"Music is such an important part of all of our lives and holds a special place within our hearts at Apple. That’s why we have kept investing in music and are bringing together these extraordinary teams so we can continue to create the most innovative music products and services in the world," said Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO.

The fresh deal will be in Billions, as reported in our previous Beats article, where today Apple will pay Beats Electronics and Beats Music services an amount of 3 Billion United States Dollars, with a purchasing cash of approximately 2.6 Billion USD and remaining $400 Million is said to vest over times.

Following this acquisition, Beatss Founders and Rapper and and Hip-Hop producer Andre "Dr. Dre" Young and Interscope-Geffen-A&M Records Chairman, Jimmy Iovine will be shifting their offices from Santa Monica, California to Apples headquarters in, Cupertino, California, United States, as their firms new executives. And as written in the past, this deal also makes Andre "Dr. Dre" Young, the worlds first Billionaire Hip-Hop producer.

"I’ve always known in my heart that Beats belonged with Apple. The idea when we started the company was inspired by Apple’s unmatched ability to marry culture and technology. Apple’s deep commitment to music fans, artists, songwriters and the music industry is something special," quoted Jimmy Iovine.

Lastly, this is what Apples Senior Vice President of Internet Software and Services, Eddy Cue made a note on, "Music is such an important part of Apple’s DNA and always will be. The addition of Beats will make our music lineup even better, from free streaming with iTunes Radio to a world-class subscription service in Beats, and of course buying music from the iTunes Store as customers have loved to do for years."

Apple Officially Introduces iPad Mini and Ready to Launch - As scheduled, Apple finally introduced formally introduced the iPad Mini. Latest tablet device from Apples iOS comes with a smaller screen size.

Apple iPad Mini comes with a touch screen LED-backlit IPS measuring 7.9 inches with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. Mini iPad screen has the same resolution as the iPad 1 and iPad 2, but has a higher pixel density due to their smaller size.

Apple iPad Mini is powered by Apples A5 chip similar to the iPad 2. Where the device is powered by dual core A9 1GHz processor, PowerVR SGX543MP2 GPU, and 512MB RAM.

Apple iPad Mini is also equipped with a 5 megapixel camera with 1080p HD video recording capabilities, front camera with FaceTime HD 720p video recording capability, and Lighting ports as on the iPhone 5.
